2 Timothy 1:4-7  As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.  For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,  for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Paul was writing to Timothy, who was a faithful evangelist for God. He had a great faith in Jesus and was a young man of faith. Young people are amazing in their abilities and have much to offer in the service of God.
They face many challenges in society. Peer pressure, social media pressure and the pressure of educational demands alongside family commitments. It is great to see the fellowship of young people at Fenlands.
The Beyond Youth Group meets on a Thursday evening at 7pm, and caters for young people aged 11 upwards.

"I have grown up in Fenland’s church since I was 3 years old, and the community of people in our church brings me so much joy. I am very grateful to belong to a church which has such reliable teaching on the Bible and is so supportive in building a strong relationship with God. Belonging to a church to me means being part of a community who you can rely on, approach in times of need and be supported through prayer. We regularly gather together not just on Sundays, but also for events throughout the year, which really helps to build up our relationships with one another and have fellowship together as a church. Having been brought up in this church, I have been blessed to grow up surrounded by people who love Jesus and want to share Him with everyone."
