Who We Are

About Fenlands Church

Serving God in the towns and villages of the fens — loving like Jesus, living as family.

Our Mission

Bringing the Gospel to everyone

At Fenlands Church we seek to bring the Gospel of Jesus to everyone. Our main gathering is every Sunday morning at 11 am.

We also have groups for men, women and young people who meet at various times. There are opportunities to drop in to our Monday soup lunch — open to all who'd like welcoming company and friendship.

We also hold to the principle of 'local church' — groups that meet in homes across the Fens.

What We Believe

Our Faith

We simply believe that the Scriptures, in the extant handed down languages, are the true and full revelation of God, that enables us to know God and His Son the Lord Jesus.

We seek to faithfully preach these Scriptures, declaring that people must come to believe on the Lord Jesus, to repent of sin, be baptised by full immersion and receive the Holy Spirit, in order to inherit eternal life.

Core Doctrines

What the Scriptures Teach

🌅

The Resurrection of Christ

Christ rose bodily from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death. Because He lives, all who trust in Him will also live eternally.

📖

The Gospel

The Good News is that Jesus died for sinners, was buried and rose on the third day. This message alone is the power of God that brings salvation to all who believe.

👑

The Deity of Christ

Jesus is God in the flesh — one with the Father. His resurrection is the supreme proof that He is truly Lord and the unique Son of God.

🎁

Salvation by Grace

We are sinners deserving judgement, yet God freely offers forgiveness through Christ's sacrifice. Salvation is entirely His gift — nothing we can earn.

🚪

Salvation Through Christ Alone

Jesus is the only way to the Father. There is no other name by which we must be saved — faith in Him alone is our remedy for sin.

🕊️

Monotheism

There is one God — Creator, King and Redeemer. Scripture from beginning to end declares that He alone is to be worshipped; there is none beside Him.

Trinity icon The Triune God

God is one, yet exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit — three distinct revelations of God, present at Jesus' baptism and in the Great Commission.
