Wellbeing & Faith

Mental Health

You are not alone. There is hope, help and a caring community here for you.

A Safe Space

It's okay not to be okay

At Fenlands Church, we believe that caring for our mental and emotional wellbeing is part of caring for the whole person God created us to be. We want to be a community where people can be honest about struggles without fear of judgement.

Whether you are walking through anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness or something else — you are welcome here. We may not have all the answers, but we will walk alongside you.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

Words of Hope & Comfort

Scripture to hold onto

When words are hard to find, these verses have brought comfort to many across the ages.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Psalm 34:18

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you."

Isaiah 41:10

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds."

Philippians 4:6–7

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

1 Peter 5:7

"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Saviour and my God."

Psalm 42:11

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles."

2 Corinthians 1:3–4
