I sing a song of freedom
I sing a song of freedom
Not the lament of the lost.
From the God ship Salvation,
Through the tear stained eyepiece,
I see Liberty shore fast approaching
Where light, laughter and love reign.
Freedom tastes as limitless opportunities
Allied to limitless time,
For time is no enslaver in heaven,
And freedom smells like constant
Spring, abounding and overwhelming.
I am coming home, rescued,
Whole and free.
It was always this way,
A walk along that shore
In the immense peace –
Father and son –
Where the unsaid speaks,
For freedom is an eternal song
That we can all sing.
