Proverbs 21:3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
I saw a film recently where a man was coming to believe in Jesus. He was reading the Bible and trying to understand. He asked his son about how difficult some of the Bible seemed and said, “Leviticus! What is that all about?” Its about Sacrifice, serving God, giving the best to God, keeping going day and night, staying spiritually healthy, eating good things for the spirit and soul as well as for the body, caring for the poor and needy – need I go on? Animal sacrifices are just a picture of something better – a life given to God for His glory.
