Fenlands Church Centre in Tydd Gote is situated along the A1101 north of Wisbech. This page has a map that will help you find us and our main contact details.
We are settling back into serving the Lord and meeting at our buildings. We are different now! Here is our weekly programme:
SUNDAYS – 11am – Family Praise and Worship (this meeting lasts about an hour and and a half. Afterwards we have coffee and tea served in our Welbrook Hall)
Mondays – from 10am – “working on the building”, gardening etc. We serve a light lunch from about 12.30pm.
Thursdays – from 7pm – Youth Club “BEYOND”
Also, we have Prayer Groups at different venues throughout the week. Phone for details.
We also hold monthly Saturday Breakfasts and we hold other events such as Jazz Evenings and Women’s Evenings regularly
“Tydd Gote” is and Anglo-Saxon name that relates to the fact that the area was once under the sea and reclaimed. It is variously mentioned as TIDE GOWT or TITHE GATE. Most likely the name describes some kind of sluice gate that required payment from the locals for its operation.
Our facilities include an excellent small function room with Kitchen and toilets (inc. disabled). We hire this out at £10 per hour. Phone 01945 420297
